Our Story

From humble beginnings, our council has grown to champion local voices and foster community spirit across Charlestown, Limekilns, and Pattiesmuir.
A public notice board displays several posters and announcements. These include a large wooden sign with 'Bekanntmachung Stadt Stolberg (Harz)' at the top. Below are various posters advertising local events such as a flea market, a book reading, and a cultural festival. The board is set against a stone wall.
A group of people are gathered on a set of stone steps, holding various signs and banners with messages such as 'LOVE COMMUNITY HATE RACISM', 'UNITE AGAINST FASCISM', and 'WHO ELECTED YOU?'. Most people are wearing masks and some are wearing colorful clothing. A police officer stands in the foreground, observing the crowd.
